SPOTLAB's PRIVACY POLICY
SpotLab is built on the principle of cryptographic privacy, and this Privacy Policy reflects our commitment to collecting as little personal information as possible. When you use SpotLab, you interact with a zero-knowledge custodial environment intentionally designed so that we cannot see your balances, your transaction history, your cryptographic keys, or the details of your financial actions. Most of what happens inside SpotLab exists only as encrypted commitments and zero-knowledge proofs generated on your device, meaning we never receive or store information that could identify your activity. We may collect limited metadata such as device type, browser information, or temporary IP hashes to ensure platform stability, prevent abuse, and maintain system security, but none of this is used for profiling, advertising, or behavioral tracking. We do not require identity documents unless legally mandated, and we never sell, trade, or monetize your information.
Because SpotLab runs entirely on zk-SNARKs, your deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cross-chain operations are mathematically verified without exposing the underlying data to us or anyone else. Even if we attempted to view your balances or reconstruct your actions, the cryptographic design prevents it. Any optional account information you provide such as an email or username is used only for communication and access management, and is never linked to your financial activity. Cookies or local storage may be used to maintain your session or assist in generating proofs, but we do not deploy tracking technologies or advertising tools.
We may share limited data only if required by law or court order, though the information available to share is minimal because your financial activity is cryptographically shielded. Our systems are secured using encryption, isolated data channels, and best-practice security standards, but you remain solely responsible for safeguarding your private, nullifier, and viewing keys, as their loss can permanently restrict access to your assets. SpotLab retains operational logs only for as long as necessary and regularly purges unnecessary data to preserve your privacy. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access to or deletion of the minimal information we store about you, and we will honor such requests where legally permitted.
By using SpotLab, you acknowledge that this privacy-by-design model is central to how the platform operates: a system where we manage custody and settlement while remaining blind to the private details of your activity. This Policy may be updated occasionally, and continued use of SpotLab means you accept any changes. For questions or requests regarding your data, you may contact us through the details provided on our website.
